Golden State agreed to terms with forward Georges Niang on Tuesday, one year at a reported $3.9 million, filling the fifteenth and final standard roster spot a day after agreeing with guard Brandon Williams. The club's own roster page carries both men. Niang has not appeared in an NBA game since April 11, 2025, when he played 16 minutes for Atlanta at Philadelphia; he missed all of 2025-26 after Utah diagnosed a fourth metatarsal stress reaction in his left foot on September 27, 2025, and was traded and waived while rehabbing. He has made 457 of 1,156 three-pointers in his career, 39.5 percent. Both new contracts are veteran minimums carrying a cap charge of $2,449,421 apiece. The two men will be paid $6,502,156 between them; the two charges total $4,898,842, against $5,246,410 of room under a second-apron hard cap of $221,686,000. Without the league's reimbursement of one-year minimum deals, the pair would not have fit. Once Spotrac posts both, Golden State projects to have $347,568 left.
